I have been practicing Pilates for 6 years at The Mindful Body and I find that it has improved my muscle tone, my balance and I have even regained 3/4 of an inch in lost height, At 78 years old I do Pilates twice a week, Zumba twice a week and ride a stationary bicycle twice a week. Sharon and all of the instructors are well-trained, patient and compassionate. They make hard work and fitness seem like fun.

I started working with Sharon in March , 2003 because my usual health club workout was too tough on my knees and shins. I didn't notice a big change right away, but after five or six months they didn't bother me anymore, and I was able to sit up a little straighter. After a year I noticed better tone in my muscles. After a couple of years of Pilates I felt my flexibility and sense of agility had greatly improved.
I plan on continuing at The Mindful Body until I am either too senile or I move out of town. whichever comes first. Seriously, Sharon has done much good for me over the last five years and I wouldn't give up my twice weekly routine for anything.

I started taking Pilates lessons several years ago because of chronic back and shoulder problems. With Sharon's patient and excellent instruction my progress has been amazing. Pilates has not only helped relieve my shoulder pain, but it has also given me more strength, flexibility, balance, stability, and much improved posture.
